Pine Royale in play, the resort taking shape

We put a drone up over the property at the start of July. What comes across in the pictures is how much is already going on out here. There are people playing golf on one side of the treeline and machines building the resort on the other, and you can see both of them in the same frame.

Pine Royale is open, and it has grown in

The par-3 course looks like it has been there for years. Cart paths run between the greens, the palms have filled out along the fairways, and there were still carts out on the course when we flew in the evening light. The lighting is the part people tend to talk about afterwards. It was designed for golf rather than for lighting a parking lot, so the ball stays visible against a night sky and the tee sheet runs long after sunset. On a summer evening the last groups are still out putting with the range lit up behind them.

Alongside the course, the Trackman range bays, the mini golf course and the full service bar and restaurant are all open and busy. Mini golf comes across especially well from the air, with water features and planting worked through the middle of it and the lot full beside it. All of that is playable today, and you can book a tee time at pineroyale.cc.

The resort side of the fence

Look past the golf in the wide shot and the resort is already drawn on the ground. The roads are cut, the site rows run in long parallel lines back toward the treeline, the ponds are dug and holding water, and there are materials stacked along the road ready to go in. In one of these frames there is an excavator working a few hundred feet from a green with a flag on it, which is about the best picture of this project we could have asked for. A finished golf course on one side and the next piece of the resort being built on the other.

This is the part of the property the cottage and motorcoach sites go on, and the lake in these shots is the one the lakeside building sits beside.

Splash Royale, spring 2027

The seven-acre waterpark is the other half of what makes this place worth the drive. Waterslides, a resort-style zero-entry pool, a splash pad playground, a lap pool, an event lawn with a stage, and a game arcade and retail center of nearly 3,000 square feet. The main building will have a full restaurant and bar opening straight onto the pool deck.

We will keep posting these as the property changes. In the meantime, Pine Royale is open, and it is the easiest way to come and see the place for yourself.
